In the same amount of time it would take you to watch 1 episode of the Bachelor, you could take a major step in eliminating the dread you feel when writing goals.

  • Emily Marie OT

    Emily Deller, MOT, OTR/L

    Emily is the clinic director and Occupational Therapist at a Pediatric Outpatient Clinic. She sees children birth to 21 years old. Previous to this, Emily worked in schools for 6 years servicing students from pre-school through high school. Emily has a passion for mentoring others, starting Emily Marie OT LLC. And now is excited to provide told tier continuing education with the OT Skills Shop.

    Sarah is a School-based Occupational Therapist in grades K-3 and has previous experience working in an outpatient clinic. She is the owner of Sarah Bee OT LLC, a business where she develops high quality therapy resources for OT practitioners across all pediatric settings. Sarah enjoys empowering others with the knowledge they need to become confident and effective pediatric OTs.

Q: When is the course?

A: You will have access to the pre-recorded content as soon as you purchase the course. You can watch it at your own pace, but it must be watched prior to the live workshop. The LIVE workshop will take place on Zoom on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 at 7:30pm EST.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: The cost to register for this course is a one-time fee of $37. This registration fee includes all course content, access to the LIVE workshop, access to the video replay (available until February 14th), a PDF copy of the presentation slides, and a one-page PDF guide to goal writing. The price of this course is subject to change at the time of future offerings.

Q: How long is the course and what does it include?

A: This is a hybrid course in 2 parts- 1 hr pre-recorded video, 90-minute live workshop. You will have access to the pre-recorded content as soon as you purchase the course. You can watch it at your own pace, but it must be watched prior to the live workshop. The LIVE workshop will take place on Zoom on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 at 7:30pm EST.

Q: What if I can’t attend the live workshop?

A: No worries! The replay of the workshop will be available on your Thinkific course within 24 hours of the live workshop. Access to all content expires on February 14th, 2024 at 11:59pm.

Q: How do I purchase the course?

Q: How do I get to the course content?

A: Log into your Thinkific account at https://occupationaltherapyskillsshop.thinkific.com/users/sign_in. Click on your Dashboard. Under ‘My Courses’ select School-Based OT Goal Writing Workshop to start viewing the content and access all course materials.

Q: How long do I have access to all course content?

A: Access to both course content and workshop recording will expire on February 14th, 2024 at 11:59pm. To access all materials, including pre-recorded content, PowerPoint slides, additional resources and more, log into your Thinkific account.

Q: Does this course provide CEUs?

A: This course is not eligible for CEUs, however according to the 2024 updates on accepted NBCOT® Certification Renewal Activities, it IS eligible for 3.13 PDUs towards your NBCOT renewal. Please check your state guidelines for their continuing education requirements. All participants who complete the course and pass their quiz with at least 80% will receive a Certificate of Completion. ALL certificates will be emailed out on February 15th.

Q: Where is the Zoom link for the live workshop?

A: The live workshop will be hosted on Zoom. The Zoom link is accessible on the Thinkific platform under the ‘Live Workshop’ tab. The link and password will also be emailed to you the morning of the workshop on January 31st. If you are unable to find the link, check the spam/promotions folders of your inbox. School district emails often block or filter out-of-district emails, so we recommend signing up with your personal email address.

Q: What if I can’t attend the live workshop?

A: No worries! The replay of the workshop will be available on your Thinkific course within 24 hours of the live workshop. Access to all content expires February 14th at 11:59pm EST.

Q: I need accommodations for this workshop. How should I let you know what I need?

Q: What is the refund policy?

A: We want all of our workshop participants to be 100% satisfied with their purchase! If you have any questions about what will be included in this workshop, please reach out before purchasing as refunds will not be available.

Q: Can I share the workshop link / replay video / PDF with my coworkers?

A: No. Each individual must purchase their own registration for the workshop. The materials presented in this course are for personal use only and cannot be shared with others. Sharing course materials in any means is a violation of copyright law.
